The work aims to contrast the concepts of authoritarianism and democracy. Authoritarianism is represented by the absence of freedom. Everything is oriented in the same direction, the course imposed with some violence (red line), and with centralised power (concentric circles). Authoritarianism is usually supported by a small number of people (black lines), while the general population, with few possibilities for social advancement, resigns or moves away (the blue background is orientated towards green - hope). Democracy, on the other hand, is symbolised by freedom, where multiple directions are possible and various solutions emerge, reflecting the diversity and hope of the population. The different coloured stones symbolise this pluralism, contrasting with the black of the tourmaline placed in the concentric circles
